To ensure the Business Professional Practicum meets the needs of member universities and has rigorous academic standards, ACICIS convened an Advisory Panel to assist with the development of the BPP. The panel, chaired by ACICIS Consortium Director, Mr Liam Prince, is composed of qualified academics and relevant personnel from a range of ACICIS member universities.
The following academics are members of the ACICIS Business Professional Practicum. ACICIS would like to thank them for their contribution to the program.
Mr Liam Prince
Mr Liam Prince, ACICIS Consortium Director, is chair of the BPP Advisory Panel.
Dr Stuart Crispin
Dr Stuart Crispin is the Associate Dean Learning and Teaching with the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics at the University of Tasmania. Stuart started teaching in marketing and strategy at UTAS in 2004, and in 2010 completed his PhD at the same institution.
A/Prof Nick Letch
A/Prof Nick Letch is the Director Undergraduate Programs, Business School at The University of Western Australia. Nick Letch teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students and researches in the field of Business Information Systems.
Mr Andrew Roe
Mr Andrew Roe is Manager, International Projects at the Business School, University of New South Wales Australia where his responsibilities include developing Work Integrated Learning experiences in Asia for Business School students. His previous roles have involved working with high achieving students in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and India. He holds a Masters of International Studies from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts from University College Dublin.
Ms Gail Quirk
Ms Gail Quirk is employed at La Trobe University as a Work Integrated Learning Coordinator with responsibility for work integrated learning in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. Previously Gail was involved in managing “international student life” at Swinburne University and, in total, has spent 14 of 25 years in management roles. Her career in the tertiary sector has involved work in Student Administration, Student Services, Distance Learning, University Events planning and implementation along with, working in an International Office.
Currently Gail’s activities include being State Chair of the Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN), Victoria and Tasmania. ACEN is the professional association for practitioners and researchers from the higher education sector, industry, community and government representatives, involved in work integrated learning in Australia.
