What Students Did, Thought & Their Feedback
“The most life changing career impactful experience you could jam into 6 weeks probably anywhere in the world.”
Anonymous respondent in the Student Feedback Survey
ACICIS started the year delightfully by welcoming 10 students from 8 Australian universities and 1 New Zealand university, all ready to embark on an immersive cultural and learning experience as part of ACICIS Journalism Professional Practicum (JPP) program in Indonesia. This year’s JPP participants were students coming from media and journalism backgrounds, and out of 10 students who participated in the program, 8 students obtained New Colombo Plan (NCP) mobility grants from the Australian Government, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. You can read the full summary here.
At the completion of the program, students are invited to complete an anonymous survey to provide feedback on their ACICIS experience. We received responses from 9 out of 10 (90%) students who completed the survey.
With this participation rate, the survey is considered both relevant and sufficiently representative of the sentiments and perspectives of the student cohort. Please see below the result of the survey:
100 % of respondents said they would recommend ACICIS Journalism Professional Practicum program to other students at their university!
