Summary of ACICIS Public Health Study Tour July 2019 Intake
ACICIS Study Indonesia is excited to announce the composition of the July 2019 intake of the consortium’s Public Health Study Tour (PHST). Fifty-four students from twelve Australian universities will be undertaking the tour in July 2019.
Of the fifty-four students undertaking study in Indonesia through the ACICIS Public Health Study Tour, fifty-one will be doing so with the assistance of New Colombo Plan mobility grants.

2019 PHST Tour Leader Announcement
ACICIS is pleased to announce the 2019 PHST Tour Leader, Dr Ade Prasetyani (Asty).
Dr Prasetyani received her medical degree from Universitas Indonesia in 2010 and practiced as a GP in a rural Community Health Centre in South Sulawesi until 2012. She completed her postgraduate studies in Culture, Health and Medicine at The Australian National University in 2015, and is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Macquarie University. Dr Prasetyani’s research interests are wide-ranging and include: primary health care, tobacco control, and mental health, but her current areas of focus are global health and medical anthropology.
ACICIS would like to thank all the many academic, administrative, and student mobility office personnel at ACICIS’ member universities for their significant contribution of time and expertise into the design, development, and promotion of the consortium’s Public Health Study Tour. ACICIS also gratefully acknowledges the financial and in-kind support it has recieved through the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan Mobility Program, which has partially underwritten the development of ACICIS’ Public Health Study Tour through the provision of student mobility grants. The New Colombo Plan is a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo-Pacific in Australia by supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake professional experiences in the region.
