Last weekend, current Australian Consortium for ‘In-Country’ Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) students in Yogyakarta, Raphael Sauvage (University of Tasmania), Stephanie Pearson ( The University of Queensland), Lushani Hewage (La Trobe University), Matilda Dickman (Monash University), Madura McCormack (Murdoch Uni), Isabelle Meere (University of Sydney), Leah Wilson (The University of Adelaide), and Ingrid O’Sulivan (Deakin University) challenged their creativity in doing pottery making and Batik painting, a well-known art originally from Indonesia. After that, they visited the Royal Cemetery up in Imogiri and tried the traditional costume. What a great weekend escape!
Minggu lalu, mahasiswa ACICIS di Yogyakarta, menantang diri mereka dalam aktifitas membuat batik lukis. Mereka juga mengunjungi Makam Raja-raja di desa Imogiri dan mengenakan pakaian traditional. Akhir minggu yang menyenangkan!
