Wilia Paramitasari
Program Manager
Wilia Paramitasari (Sari) joined ACICIS as the Jakarta Program Coordinator in July 2017, and in 2019 she became the Jakarta and Bandung Program Coordinator. In 2022 she became the Program Manager. She holds a Bachelor degree in English Education from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Banten. Sari’s first immersive experience of Australian culture was as a participant on The Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) in 2010. During her time on AIYEP, Sari served as the group leader for the Indonesia delegation, and headed up community development education projects in Wakatobi, South East Sulawesi. Through the program, Sari worked as a teacher at Park Ridge State High School in Brisbane and South West TAFE in Roma. Upon her return to Indonesia, Sari went on to work for the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KEMENPORA) and was assigned as the AIYEP Project Officer where she worked with various stakeholders in Sydney and West Sumatra. Sari has also been involved in a range of international and national projects, such: as the Kizuna Bond Project in Ibaraki, Japan; ASEAN-Korea Frontier Forum in Busan, South Korea; Peace Corps School Camp Project in West Java; and the National Selection Panel for International Youth Exchange Programs sponsored by KEMENPORA. Sari is also the founder and project director of The Little Good Deeds, an independent youth movement providing non-formal education, student training, and motivational classes for students wishing to pursue higher education. In her spare time, Sari enjoys reading literature, jamming with her band mates, and playing with her four cats.
