About Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF)
The Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) is an independent, autonomous research institution and policy studies institution established on August 1995 in Jakarta. Its main activities are to undertake research and policy studies on a wide-range economic and finance issues, to generate policy debates and public participation, and to enhance public awareness in decision making process for the search for viable solutions to the Indonesia’s complex social and economic problems.

Intern Duties (Example)
- Meets regularly with desk research member to discuss research assignments;
- Prepare materials for Desk Research: Proposal, Design, etc;
- Conducting mandatory collaboration research with INDEF’s senior economist and researchers
Dress Code
Semi-formal (e.g. Business attire, collared shirts/ blouses, trousers/long skirt, long dress covering shoulders and knees, batik shirt/ blouse/ dress, closed toe shoes. No t-shirts, shorts, flip flops)
