ACICIS’ Indonesian Business, Law and Society (IBLS) program is a semester program based in Yogyakarta at Indonesia’s oldest private university, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). During the semester, students can study units within UII’s Faculties of Law or Economics. As part of IBLS, students also have the option to undertake a professional placement (internship) with leading Indonesian institutions and NGOs in the fields of business, economics, law and society.
For Semester 49 (August 2019 – January 2020), ACICIS welcomed four students, Grace Williams, a 2019 New Colombo Plan Scholar from the University of Tasmania, Alina Rizvi from the Australian National University, Laura Striling from Monash University, and Nicholas Basan (Nick) from the University of Western Australia to study in Indonesia on the IBLS program. Alina, Laura, and Nick are New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant recipients.
