CARE Indonesia is one of Indonesia’s most well-established, and effective development and humanitarian assistance agencies. Requirements
A background or interest in renewable energy/natural resources management is highly desirable (and would probably lead to a field placement during the internship period). Good writing skills. Independence and initiative is essential as mentors may spend time away for the office on field assignments. Any experience in media relations or marketing also highly desirable.
Intern Duties (Example)
Program support and administrative tasks including documentation review, monitoring and evaluation, review of systems and tools and design frameworks. Documentation work to include the writing of reports, synthesising documents, providing input for new initiatives. Opportunities to work on village planning processes and multiple interventions. Provide support with media analysis and communications strategies.
